We offer a compass to any student’s future. Fun and interactive, this life guide offers tons of up-to-date facts, figures, and information to help get teens beyond high school.
If we assume that we know how to do the homework we are assigned, we should be able to complete it in a reasonable amount of time. But consider the schedules of many high school students: we often wake up early in the morning; some of us have long bus rides; and many of us have sports practices, jobs, or other extracurricular activities before or after school. We have to make time to eat dinner and complete our chores. Now add on three or more hours of homework a night and you have instant stress, not only for students but also for their families.
“The purpose of High School is to prepare students for a meaningful life in the 21st century;
to be a good citizen, economically self-sufficient and respectful of themselves and others.”

High school programs
Madison offers many different programs for high school students interested in studying at our campus. Most programs are offered during the summer, but there are options for weekend workshops during the fall and spring.
There are more than 65 clubs, student publications, community service organizations, and music and performance ensembles at Hotchkiss. If we don’t have the club you’re looking for, start a new one!
“ As the principal of Madison school it is absolute pleasure to work with our families, youth, and community partners together to support and nurture all of our current and future students. ”
All Board meetings are held on a Monday and will commence
at 7.00pm – 1 meeting per month, to be held in the Madison
High School Staffroom or alternatively school meeting room.
The Board encourages, listens to, and strongly values the input the public
provides at Board meetings. The Board is interested in hearing from
different individuals in order to hear an abundance of thoughtful offers.
